Jerusalem Martha Mariam Syriac Orthodox Church, Toronto is under the blessed guidance of Malankara Archdiocese of The Syrian Orthodox Church In North America (Under the Holy See of Antioch & All The East) led by the Archbishop, His Eminence Mor Titus Yeldho.
The Church was established on December 5, 2010 by the Reverend Fr. V.V. Paulose along with a couple of families.Currently we are a congregation of 100 families. Majority of our congregation are new immigrants who landed in Canada in search of better opportunities and lifestyles. We also have a rich student community who attends our mass regularly. Our Church is registered under Canadian Charitable Organization as Jerusalem Christian Mission (JCM).
A church that believes in the apostolic spirit of Love, Unity and Holiness that existed in the first century.
We stand as witnesses of Jesus Christ in Toronto, Canada.We worship Jesus as one family and in God we see Love, Holiness and Unity.We accept and welcome all people who seek salvation without any denominational, caste, creed, color, language, and national differences. Through all this, we do only the will of the Almighty God, Son and Holy Spirit.
We love all living beings and take care of spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and social needs of each human to seeks refuge through us in Christ.
Our spiritual leader Fr V.V Paulose is a very dedicated, sincere and humble human who adorned the holy cassockto focus on needs of the underprivileged above anything else. He has worked towards saving and building shelters the homeless and the orphans in their old age.
His church works towards helping new families who migrate to Canada in settling down, helping them with job opportunities amongst contacts. They are also assisted with training and support to help them find a living in Canada. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our church and it’s members for any assistance.
